The House

Find out where we are with our Cadaques map.

Experience the Cadaques known to locals by staying in Casa Es Puig, a luxury villa just a few minutes stroll from the centre of the Costa Brava's most vibrant and historic town.

Built as a shooting lodge in 1949, Es Puig overlooks one of the most spectacular and unspoiled bays in the Mediterranean. Its unique location offers tranquility, seclusion, and shade during the summer months just a few minutes walk to the beaches, restaurants and bars.

There is no other house like it in Cadaques...

The Living and dining Room

The spacious sitting room helps make Casa Es Puig the most luxurious Cadaques rental available.

The comfortable sitting room is equipped with wifi, a docking station for your music, Bang and Olufsen and a small TV with a selection of DVDs. There are many games and a well-stocked bookshelf.

For cooler months, the sitting room features an open fire and the house is centrally-heated, making it cosy at any time of year.

The living room leads into the dining area, which seats 10 in comfort, and the kitchen.

The Kitchen

The kitchen, well equipped for any enthusiastic cook, has a six-ring gas hob Lacanche cooker and double oven, a Miele dish washer and two sinks. There is a separate utility room with a washer, dryer and second fridge/freezer. Everything is kept in good order by our lovely housekeeper Marie Angels. We can also arrange for a cook to come in if required.

There is much to be found in the Monday market, a ten minute walk from the house. Fresh fruit and vegetables, delicious oil from the olive groves in the hills above town, local cheeses, wines, honey, Serrano ham and spicy chorizos. A delightful place for any foodie to find delicious ingredients..

Master Bedroom and bathroom

The stunning master bedroom upstairs boasts a king-sized bed and french windows opening onto the balcony and one of the most breathtaking views in the Mediterranean...

The upstairs bathroom features a bath/shower, two basins and plenty of drawer space.

The bedroom leads out onto its own balcony with views across to the 18th century baroque church of Santa Maria, a patient model for many artists. If it's solitude you're looking for there is plenty of room for a morning yoga session inside or out, a private sun lounger and a table and chairs if the kids get too noisy.

Outside Dining and pool area

The salt-water pool ( which can be heated in cooler weather ) offers one of the most stunning panoramas of the Costa Brava with spectacular views of the town and the Mediterranean.

There are plenty of places to relax in sun by the pool. When it’s busy on the beach you have blissful peace and privacy in the shade of the terrace.

Looking across to the Cala Nans lighthouse and out to the Mediterranean from the shade of the balcony, ideal for relaxing, reading and avoiding the midday sun whilst watching the boats drift by.
